We transform waste into raw materials, contributing significantly to the Circular Economy, where Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) plays an absolutely fundamental role as a resource, which can be used in several areas of industry.

The production of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is considered an innovative process at national and international level.

The unit of Recivalongo is one of the national companies that focuses on the production of RDF, a fuel derived from waste which complies with the technical specification CEN / TS 15359: 2006. The final product (RDF) is characterized by its high quality, homogeneity and its specificity of use.

The final product has characteristics of excellence and differentiates itself in the market of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF).
The RDF produced at Recivalongo meets the specifications for the most demanding classes (class 1 and 2):

Our unit is located in the Great Porto area, aiming in this way to cover the market of the North of the country and Spain, the metropolitan area of Porto, Ave Valley, Cavado Valley, Lima Valley, Minho and Central Region of the country.

It should be noted that the unit is at the forefront of the main national and European strategies in the field of environment and energy, making an important contribution to the sustainable management of waste and resources, through the diversification of the sources of energy and the use of endogenous resources.

Among the particularities of this project, which intends to be a reference in the waste management market of the Iberian Peninsula, is a significant reduction in the need for landfilling, actively contributing to the of waste management.
