Make waste separation a routine, both inside and outside your home

The summer is coming. And with summer, the number of walks, trips to the beach, dinners with friends, participation in outdoor events and other vacations activities increases. Sociedade Ponto Verde leaves a set of advice to help the Portuguese population to behave more environmentally friendly at this time of year, making separation of waste a routine both inside and outside their homes.

At home
Save water, reusing the one that is normally wasted, for irrigation, for example
Dry the laundry outdoors, avoid using the dryer
Recover materials to decorate the balcony or terrace
Separate the packaging at home

Out of home
Use the bike, avoiding motor vehicles
Give rest to everything except recycling
Protect the beach by separating the waste you produced
Separate, even if on the street, the waste that you take with you (drink packs, papers ...)
Recycle at festivals, fairs and pilgrimages, placing the bottles, cans, etc. in the indicated recycling banks
