Ordinance No. 28/2019 introduces changes in eGAR
eGAR constitutes the system of electronic waste monitoring guides to be used in the transport of waste. This system made possible to dematerialize the waste tracking guides, previously in paper form.
It is a module of the Integrated System of Electronic Waste Registries (SIRER), in the Integrated Environmental Licensing System (SILIAMB), available on the institutional website of the Portuguese Environment Agency.
Already this year, Ordinance nº 28/2019 introduced changes in eGAR, not allowing loads lower than 3m3 without eGAR.
According with the provisions of paragraph b, article 6 of Ordinance No. 145/2017, it was not mandatory to have eGAR "the transport of waste from works exempted from prior control in accordance with the provisions of the Legal Regime of Urbanization and Construction, as well as those resulting from the provision of services to the domicile, if it does not exceed 3m3", which is no longer possible.
Thus, all deliveries of waste will be accompanied by their eGAR.
